L.O.G.S. — Living Organic Ground Systems
Practical, biologically active flooring for livestock areas.
Developed to help livestock owners manage manure, odour, flies, wet bedding and routine cleaning labour.
A practical response to a daily problem
When the ground becomes the problem, the ground can become part of the solution.
Livestock areas should not have to mean persistent smell, mud after rain, flies, saturated bedding and repeated full clean-outs. L.O.G.S. is a different way of thinking about the floor beneath the animals.
The concept
What is L.O.G.S.?
L.O.G.S. is a layered, carbon-rich ground system for suitable animal areas. Instead of allowing organic material to remain on a hard or compacted surface, it is designed to create a more stable, biologically active environment below the animals.
What Is L.O.G.S.?The method
How does L.O.G.S. work?
Each system is planned around the site, the animals and the way the area is used. Structure, coarse carbon material, air movement, moisture management and biological activity are brought together to help create a drier, more manageable surface.

The applications
Made for real animal areas.
L.O.G.S. can be considered for goat and sheep enclosures, protected pig sleeping areas, chicken coops and rabbit spaces. Each application is assessed around the animal, enclosure, weather exposure and the challenges of that particular space.
Explore ApplicationsThe story behind it
Built from working livestock environments.
L.O.G.S. began as a hands-on response to the everyday realities of keeping animals: wet ground, odour, flies and the continual job of cleaning. It has since been tested in working animal environments and continues to develop through practical observation.
